Now that I’ve watched a NFL Total Access twice on NFL Network (best channel ever) I can get around to writing something. I’m feeling giddy like I just received a a shiny new job offer from someone. On a side note, all you hiring managers had better get me while I’m hot. 
My thoughts on the Olympics in Chicago
First off let me say I think the Olympics would be a great thing for the Washington Park neighborhood and Chicago. With that said, I’ve got only modest requests:

Why did I start designing websites?
Am I the best designer? Nope, far from it. If I were “the best” what would be the point? Working with skilled designers and applying their knowledge to my own is why I started designing websites.
Baby Shower Coming Up Fast
It’s freaking amazing how quickly time goes by. It seems like just yesterday my wife called me with the “good news” while on my afternoon commute. Meanwhile, we’ve got a baby shower coming up in about 3 and a half weeks. With that said, I think I put together some pretty sweet looking invitations. I had 30, 4″x6″ glossy printed with my design shop on the back. I was really happy with the job Vista Print did on them. I’d definitely use them again for any short run projects.
Again with the powercord?!?!
In typical Monday fashion, I need a new powercord for my PowerBook…again. The thing lit up like a 4th of July sparkler last night. The powercord, not the laptop. I’m lucky I didn’t electrocute myself or set the place on fire.
